Rates for female and male models doing swimsuit and underwear print photography vary from project to project.  Pay scales are usually determined by the intended use and distribution of the final product.

In the adult entertainment industry, pay rates have a range based on genre.  In the straight genre, since the talent pool is so large in southern California, Platinum Red pays within the industry standard range as dictated by the major talent agencies. 

For female models, scene work that pays the highest rates include: D/P (double penetration; vaginal and anal at the same time), double vaginal (being penetrated by two penises at the same time), bisexual (bisexual work with two men), strap-on (penetrating a man with a strap-on dildo).  

For male models, scene work that pays the highest rates include: solo (masturbating alone or possibly using a dildo), bisexual (having bisexual sex with a man and a woman), strap-on (anally penetrated by a woman wearing a strap-on dildo), gay-for-pay (straight men having gay sex).

If a model exhibits extraordinary potential, he or she may offered a contract thereby becoming an exclusive model, and enjoying added benefits such as: signing bonuses, higher pay rates, company-paid AIM testing, guaranteed shooting schedule, paid promotional events, and more!
